This is a request under the Freedom of Information Act. I hereby request the following records:

All files and documentation about, mentioning, or created by Frank Olson (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Frank_Olson), an American scientist specializing in bacteriology who worked for the CIA

I also request that, if appropriate, fees be waived as I believe this request is in the public interest. The requested documents will be made available to the general public free of charge as part of the public information service at MuckRock.com, processed by a representative of the news media/press and is made in the process of news gathering and not for commercial usage.

In the event that fees cannot be waived, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 20 business days, as the statute requires.

I have not received, either by mail or email, an acknowledgement of my request, originally submitted August 5, 2014, which identified "All files and documentation about, mentioning, or created by Frank Olson (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Frank_Olson), an American scientist specializing in bacteriology who worked for the CIA." I would greatly appreciate if the correspondence could be sent again, and I apologize for the inconvenience. As far as I am aware, I have not received any indication of a tracking number for this request, so it will be helpful for future correspondence if you could please provide that at this juncture.

Also, I am not sure to which signed mail receipt you refer, nor am I familiar with the specific request to which it corresponds. If you could provide a tracking number for either (preferably both) the delivery and the request, that may help clear up this breakdown in communication.
