Pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act, I hereby request the following records:

All e-mails sent from or received by any government or personal e-mail accounts used
by the Office of Management and Budget’s Director John M. Mulvaney that contain the keywords "Allied Progress"

I am a career journalist with work that has appeared at The Daily Beast among other publications. I am willing to pay any reasonable expenses associated with this request, however, as the purpose of the requested disclosure is in full conformity with the statutory requirements for a waiver of fees, I formally request such a waiver.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 20 business days, as the statute requires.

As an update to your request, FOIA Request BCFP-2019-0173-F, we have initiated a search for “all e-mails sent from or received by any government or personal e-mail accounts used by the Office of Management and Budget’s Director John M. Mulvaney that contain the keywords "Allied Progress".
The search conducted came back with initial results of approximately 1.5 GB of data. Your request was recently reassigned to me for processing.

Please be advised that the CFPB FOIA Office has a backlog of pending FOIA requests. We are diligently working to process each request in the order in which it was received. Your patience is greatly appreciated.
