To Whom It May Concern:

This is a request under the Freedom of Information Act. I hereby request the following records:

All correspondence between U.S. Air Force officials and members of Vermont's Congressional delegation between 2011 and present day regarding the basing of the F-35 airplane at Burlington International Airport (BTV). The congressional email accounts should include staffers for U.S. Sens. Bernie Sanders and Patrick Leahy, as well as U.S. Rep. Peter Welch. The emails will end in either @sanders.senate.gov, @leahy.senate.gov or, in the case of Rep. Welch, @mail.house.gov. The search terms for correspondence should include, but are not limited to, "F-35," "air force," "Burlington," "noise," and "vermont."

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 20 business days, as the statute requires.

Sincerely,

Jasper Craven
