Pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act, I hereby request the following records:

All use of force and weapon use reports filed by law enforcement officers of the Department of Veterans Affairs police since 2010. In addition, please provide all oversight reports since 2010 over VA police activities, including bi-annual on-site inspections and any significant reports from the VA's Law Enforcement Oversight and Criminal Investigations Division. The production of these oversight reports and bodies are detailed at the following link: https://www.osp.va.gov/Police_Services.asp

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 20 business days, as the statute requires.

Dear Mr. Craven, the response was sent to you and administratively closed. I cannot address this any further and the appeal information was provided. I believe the response indicated the reasons clearly. The use of force reports are done at facilities and vary greatly. The withholding of inspection reports ; security functions and operations would not be releasable. Please understand that the response you received was the best I could provide based on your request, and my inquiry about records.
