Hi Ms. Blevins,

I hope you are well.

Despite calling your office, and having left a number at which you can reach me, we have not talked about this request. What is the current status of this request and would you please explicate in your response email what narrowing or other issues you wished to discuss on the phone.

Mr. Pfeiffer,

Apologies for the delayed response. I wanted to discuss your request and if you'd be willing to accept publicly-available photos in lieu of your request. This would mean you wouldn't get appeal rights, but all the information that currently exists is already publicly available according to the program office.

Please let me know if you agree.

All the best,

Danielle

Hi Ms. Blevins,

If I may ask for clarification as to what the materials you describe are?

I would like to proceed without surrendering my right to appeal. I would ask how/if we can also adjust the search to produce additional/all responsive docoments needeed to fulfill this request.

Thank you for following up and your assistance. I apologize for my delayed response.

Again, all of the documents found are publicly available.

You requested: "Photographs each of the Atomic Energy Commission Seal and related or collocated historical markers and plaques in the lobby/entrance of the Department of Energy headquarters located at 19901 Germantown Rd, Germantown MD 20874." According to the program office, everything they have is already publicly available.

I am unsure of how you would like to proceed. It would be easier if you could give me a call and we could discuss.

All the best,

Danielle

Hi Ms. Blevins,

Since we continue to have difficulty connecting here is how I would like to move forward with this request.

A) I would ask that any publicly available records located as part of the search be included in the final response as a courtesy and as they are responsive records located in response to my request.
B) I would ask that a reasonable search be conducted, as required for the FOIA, to identify responsive records necessary for completing the criteria of my request.
C) I would like to maintain my right of appeal.

Please let me know if you require additional information.

Regards,
