To Whom It May Concern:
I wanted to follow up on the following Freedom of Information request, copied below, and originally submitted on March 7, 2014. Please let me know when I can expect to receive a response, or if further clarification is needed. You had assigned it reference number #FOIA/PA-2014-00168.
Thank you for your help.

I did not have the opportunity to submit an appeal within the 30 day limit. However, I believe that you have withheld these records inappropriately. Can you please either reconsider my request or extend my appeals rights to 30 days from today?
If you are not willing to do either of the above, please consider this a new FOIA request for the following record: A copy of the ADAMS Training Manual or other material which provides instruction on the use of ADAMS. Please include staff training manuals for online training and/or classroom training.
I agree to fees up to $15. If fees are expected to exceed this amount, please let me know so I can consider either expanding my willingness to pay fees or reduce the scope of my request.
I request records in electronic format, preferably via email.
Thank you.
Regards,
Jason Smathers

Good morning Mr. Smathers,
As stated in NRC's response Part II of Form 464 on the bottom, "Appeals must be made in writing within 30 days of receipt of this response" and "mailed to the FOIA/Privacy Act Officer." Since we are well beyond the 30 days, we cannot accept an appeal.
Thanks,
Paris
