Dear Michael:

This is in response to your e-mail of May 12, 2016 concerning information
from the J. Stanley Pottinger Papers at the the Gerald R. Ford Presidential
Library in Ann Arbor, Michigan.

The submission of a Freedom of Information Act request is not necessary
concerning the folder in question (531 - F*ck Up, Department of Justice)
within Box 111 of the Pottinger Papers because it has been reviewed by Ford
Library staff and released to the public in its entirety.

The full contents of this folder (75 pages) can be sent to you in digital
form (.pdf) at a cost of 80 cents (U.S.) per page, a total of $60.00
(U.S). My Ford Library colleague, archives technician John O'Connell,
handles all large photocopy requests from researchers. If you decide to
purchase copies of these documents, Mr. O'Connell will be in touch with you
via e-mail in the near future with all of the details on the process to
have them sent to you electronically.

If you have any further questions, please contact us by telephone or e-mail
at ford.library@nara.gov.

Thank you for your interest in the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Library.

Sincerely,

Mark Fischer

To Michael Best:

I am writing in response to your email inquiring about folder copies from
the J. Stanley Pottinger Papers. The Ford Library offers the option of
digital reproductions for researchers ordering entire folders. The cost is
.80 cents per page for copies (digital or paper) with a minimum order
charge of $20.00 (equivalent to 25 pages). A review of your requested
folder shows an estimated total page count of 75 pages. The total cost to
you (withdrawn sheets included) would be at or around $60.00. Since you are
ordering entire folders you have the option to receive reproductions as
either paper copies or digital files. Please let me know which format you
would like. Individual documents will be copied onto paper and mailed.

Attached is a reproduction order form for you to complete; please let me
know if you have any problems opening the file. When you fill out, please
make sure to include the billing address beneath your name at the top of
the page. You can submit your payment information by email, mail, fax, or
phone, whichever you prefer. If you are paying with a credit card and want
to return the form via email without physically signing it, we need you to
include a statement in your email authorizing the Ford Library to charge
your card.

Once we’ve received your payment and completed the reproducing the material
will be mailed, emailed or faxed to you. Please feel free to contact me if
you have any questions about your order.
Best regards,

John J. O’Connell
