This is a request under the Freedom of Information Act. I hereby request the following records:
All Domestic Cannabis Eradication / Suppression Program (DCE/SP) Letters of Agreement, Memorandums of Agreement, grant agreements, and other contracts issued and entered into during/for the years 2014 and 2015 between the Drug Enforcement Administration and any other agency, including, but not limited to, local sheriff departments, state correctional department, private operators, and special law enforcement teams. Please include, if available, all reports provided for the year 2014 regarding operations conducted as part of the DCE/SP.
This request is being made as part of a journalistic investigation. The requested documents will be analyzed and contextualized by a professional journalist and also will be made available to the general public. This request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that fees cannot be waived, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 20 business days, as the statute requires.
