March 12, 2014 for the memorandum for Zbignew Brzezinski, from: Situation
Room, Subject: Noon Dates, Date: 16 October 1979. Your request was
received in this office on March 12, 2014 and assigned case number *RD

Dear Mr. Carter,

request because the item you've requested is not from a collection to which
FOIA can be applied. You will receive notification at the address
that you provided
once your request is assigned a formal case #. Additional information
regarding your case (i.e. a final declassification determination) will also
be sent to the address on file.

The record you've requested is located here at the Jimmy Carter Library in
Atlanta, Georgia and this request is being processed through us. I will
look into where your request is in our processing queue and provide you
with a status update as soon as possible.

Dear Mr. Carter,

I pulled your requester file and confirmed that the request was indeed sent
as of March 12, 2014 to the appropriate agency/ies for review. I've
attached a copy of your notification to the e-mail.

It can take up to a year for us to receive a response on your requested
item, but it is my hope that we will hear back much sooner. We will notify
you at the address on file once we receive a final decision. If you do not
receive a response on your initial request within one year of it having
been filed, you can appeal directly to ISCAP. If we near that kind of time
window, I can assist you with appeal steps at that time.

Please cite your case number, MR-LP-JC-2014-020 in any future
correspondence. You can e-mail me directly at Brittany.Parris@nara.gov for
status updates in the interim.

Dear Mr. Carter,

I'm just following up to confirm if you received my last few e-mails? I'm
concerned that there has been some technical glitch in my e-mails getting
to your address. If you could confirm receipt, that would be appreciated!

Thank you.
