From: Shawn Musgrave

To Whom It May Concern:

Pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act, I hereby request the following records:

All Law Enforcement Support Office (LESO) Property Transferred To Participating Agencies in the 1033 program.

The quarterly data as of June 2018 is posted on the DLA, Disposition Service eFOIA reading room here: https://www.dla.mil/DispositionServices/FOIA/EFOIALibrary/

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Given the public interest in the 1033 program (see media coverage below), I ask that this request be processed on an expedited basis. I also ask that all fees be waived in the public interest.

In recent days, the media has covered the 1033 program intensely:

https://www.vox.com/policy-and-politics/2020/6/2/21277981/senators-police-military-equipment-weapons

The latter link indicates that some lawmakers are considering modifying or even eliminating this program.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter.

I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 20 business days, as the statute requires.

Sincerely,

Shawn Musgrave
