Pursuant to the Oregon Public Records Law, I hereby request the following records:
A copy of the current contract between the County and the current vendor for inmate communication services at the County Correctional / Detention Facility. This may encompass telecommunication, kiosk, and mobile tablet services. I am requesting that the information provided contain the term and expiration date of the current contract (including any optional contract extensions), as well as the current telecommunications provider and the services currently being provided pursuant to the agreement.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Hello Augie Torres,
I have received your request for a copy of the current contract between the
Umatilla County Sheriff's Office and our current vendor for inmate
communication services at the Umatilla County Jail. I am not sure exactly
what it will entail for me to obtain these records as I mainly deal with
case records, but I will speak with the Jail Administration and see about
obtaining these documents and how long that may take. We do charge an
hourly research fee of $30. Once I am able to locate these records and
figure out how long it will take for your request to be processed I will be
able to give you a better estimation of the fee for the request. I have to
receive payment for the fee before I can process your request and we are
only able to accept payment with cash or check (made payable to the
Umatilla County Sheriff's Office). I will let you know what the estimated
fee for the records is as soon as I am able to do so. If you have any
questions please let me know. Thank you.

I was able to get an electronic copy of our Inmate Telecommunication
Location Agreement and the latest Amendment from our County Counsel so
there will be no charge for the records. I have attached a PDF Document for
you containing the UCSO Response to Information Request Form, a copy of
your request and the copies it the Inmate Telecommunication Location
Agreement and that most recent Amendment. Please let me know if you need
