Records sufficient to show the names, badge numbers, respective dates, and the type of time off of all police officers and/or employees who requested any personal time off, vacation days, personal days, furlough days, or any other time off for the dates of, on, or between Jan 3, 2021 and January 9, 2021 AS WELL AS requests made for time off for the dates of, on, or between Jan 17, 2021 and January 23, 2021.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

We have begun a process to search for records responsive to your request. We reasonably believe that at least a first installment of public records (if any) responsive to this request will be available on or before February 04, 2021.
If public records become available in advance of this estimate, we will contact you promptly. Conversely, if the County encounters a need to extend our estimate, we will contact you with a revised estimated date. We will communicate with you and keep you informed of any updates regarding collecting and obtaining the responsive records as we move through the process.
RCW 42.56.120 provides that the County may charge fees as authorized by law for responsive public records documents.

Dear WA Resident,
We are writing to give you an update on this request.
1) We have to wait until after 1/23/21 for potential modifications to time off requests according to our Chief in Accounting.
2) Third Party Notice will then be given to all employees that are affected. They will be given two weeks to obtain a court injunction if they do not want the release of the records. There are approximately eighty (80) employees that will be given notice.
3) Results will be TCSO deputies and TCSO support service employees. No TCSO Corrections records will be released. For any Corrections deputies, you will have to make a separate request to the Jail.

We are still waiting for possible court injunctions from any of the affected eighty employees. The deadline will be tomorrow. However, I will be out of the office next week, and will return on 2/18/21. If no injunction were submitted, we will release the records to you on that date.
