Pursuant to the Texas Public Information Act, I hereby request the following records:
All evaluations, inspections, reports, and related materials regarding all services, equipment, and activities involving/provided by/contracted for regarding Mineral wells Pre-Parole Transfer Facility and any facilities associated with it, either before, during, or after the contract term for which the facility was under obligation to the Texas Department of Criminal Justice.
Responsive materials should include but not be limited to:
• all annual inspections
• all emergency event reports and evaluations
• all records of inspections conducted in accordance with DOC provisions, such as those of the American Correctional Association
• all reports regarding the transfer of prisoners
• all reports regarding the performance of the contract and associated duties
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that fees cannot be waived, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 10 business days, as the statute requires.

In regards to the time frame/dates, would you be able to clarify if you are wanting all information within the records retention dates, or is there a specific time frame you are looking for? Also, regarding “all annual inspections”, would you please clarify what type of inspections you are referring to.

I would be interested in all available materials, though I would be happy to provide further limits with some assistance. Regarding annual inspections, I mean any inspections that may have been conducted and any annual reports generated or provided by the operator regarding the facility.

The request submitted 08/30/2015 pertaining to the Mineral Wells Pre-Parole Transfer Facility has been sent to the Attorney General’s office for a ruling as to whether the information you have requested is releasable. Once the AG’s office makes a ruling they will send a copy to both you and the TDCJ. At this time, the TDCJ has not received anything from the AG’s office.
