Pursuant to the Texas Public Information Act , I hereby request the following records:

All contracts (and their amendments) and memorandums of understanding entered into by the Texas Department of Criminal Justice for services and activities related to the Houston Processing Center (https://www.cca.com/facilities/houston-processing-center)

Hello,

Per the attached communications, this public records request is being forwarded to your office for processing. Confirmation of receipt and an estimated date of completion would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

Good morning, Mr. Lipton.

You sent 3 emails to Jason Clark on February 18th regarding requests you made back in January.

We received 6 requests from you back in January which were responded to by Cheryl Cowart on 1/7/15. We do not have any record of your requests concerning the Houston Processing Center, the Bridgeport Pre-Parole Transfer Facility and the Lindsey State Jail.

I have forwarded these 3 requests to our contracts department and asked them to respond to you as soon as possible.

Sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused you.

Good afternoon, Mr. Lipton.

Pertaining to your request for contracts and memorandums of understanding entered into by TDCJ for services and activities related to the Houston Processing Center, we have no responsive information as this is not one of our facilities.

I googled the Houston Processing Center and it falls under the jurisdiction of the Office of the Chief Immigration Judge which is a component of the Executive Office for Immigration Review under the Department of Justice.

I hope this helps. Have a great afternoon.
