Plataforma Centinela - State of Chihuahua

Pursuant to the Texas Public Information Act, I hereby request the following records:

- All communications, including emails, letters, agreements between the Texas Department of Public Safety and officials from the Chihuahua Governor's Office or the Secretaria de Seguridad Pública Estatal regarding or referencing the Plataforma Centinela, Torre Centinela, Sentinel Platform or Sentinel Tower.
- All presentations or other explanatory records provided to the Texas Department of Public Safety by officials from the Chihuahua Governor's Office or the Secretaria de Seguridad Pública Estatal regarding or referencing the Plataforma Centinela, Torre Centinela, Sentinel Platform or Sentinel Tower.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 10 business days, as the statute requires.

Dear ML Calcote,

Thank you for the quick response.

For clarity, my earlier request, involved different parties. The previous request sought communications between Texas DPS and officials from Nuevo Leon or Ciudad Juarez.

This newer request is for communications between DPS and the Chihuahua Governor's Office and Chihuahua SSPE.

So, while this newer request involves the same topic, it is a different request in that it involves different parties.

Could you please conduct a search for a longer time period using these parties?

For reference, last year Governor Abbot signed an MOU with the State of Chihuahua regarding DPS and the Sentinel Platform.
