Pursuant to the Texas Public Information Act, I hereby request the following records:
Records of any and all wage complaints filed against Kindred Healthcare Inc. (also doing business as "Kindred Hospitals" or "Kindred At Home"), federal tax ID number 611323993,
for the inclusive period between January 1, 2010 and July 1, 2020,
with information including the date the complaint was filed, the nature of the complaint, the amount owed to the complainant, the dates worked but not compensated, and the outcome of the complaint.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 15 business days, as the statute requires.

Dear Jake Bittle,
Texas Workforce Commission received your request for information on July 7, 2020. We have assigned it OR #191106-002. You requested wage claim information concerning named businesses. We located some responsive wage claims. We have gathered the responsive documents and redacted personal financial information pursuant to common-law privacy and section 552.101 of the Government Code.
We redacted personal financial information we are required to redact by law (Government Code section 552.101 in conjunction with common-law privacy). If you would prefer that our Agency refer this matter to the Attorney General for a ruling, you may of course clarify that in writing as directed below. Normally that process can take up to an additional 45 business days. If you accept the redacted copies but in the future decide you would like us to request a ruling from the Attorney General concerning the information that has been redacted, you may also ask for that in writing at a later date.
We are required to include the following statement on all written requests for clarification: "Pursuant to Government Code section 552.222, if we do not receive a written response to this request for clarification within 60 days after the date we request clarification, this request will be considered to have been withdrawn."
