A copy of the TDCJ contract with GeoGroup Inc for the Southeast Texas Transitional Center located at 10950 Beaumont Highway, Houston, Texas
I also request that, if appropriate, fees be waived as I believe this request is in the public interest. The requested documents will be made available to the general public free of charge as part of the public information service at MuckRock.com, processed by a representative of the news media/press and is made in the process of news gathering and not for commercial usage.
In the event that fees cannot be waived, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

and Cornell Companies, Inc. This contract can be found on the Legislative
Budget Board (LBB) website, http://contracts.lbb.state.tx.us/.
Below are the instructions for accessing the contract:
1) Go to the LBB website.
2) In the Agency field select Department of Criminal Justice.
3) In the Vendor field select Cornell Companies, Inc. c/o GEO Care, Inc.
Be sure you select the one that includes GEO Care, Inc.
4) Click on Search.
The results will return Contract Number 696-PD-4-5-C0083, enabling you to
access the contract and all executed modifications for this contract.
Since the documents are large it may take a few minutes to down load. If
you experience any problems or are unable to find the information you are
requesting, please let me know and I will be happy to assist.
