Mr. Corey,

I joined the Office of the Governor (the "OOG") as its Public Information Coordinator in late November. The OOG has recently received mail correspondence from you that is addressed to the "Texas Economic Development Council" but includes the OOG's post office box number. This correspondence references a prior request for information made on August 4, 2017. Our records do not show such a request for records made by you to the OOG by any of the available means of submission: hand delivery, mail, fax to 512-463-1932, or email to publicrecords@gov.texas.gov<mailto:publicrecords@gov.texas.gov>.

Did you intend to actually contact the Texas Economic Development Council? If so, its address is 1601 Rio Grande Street, Suite 455
Austin, Texas 78701. TEDC's email address is tedcinfo@texasedc.org<mailto:tedcinfo@texasedc.org>. If you intended to request information from the OOG, perhaps relating to its Economic Development and Tourism Division, we would need you to submit an original request by one of the means described above. In that event, after we receive a request for information, we can begin a search of our records for such information.

Thank you,

Kenny Moreland
Assistant General Counsel
Office of Governor Greg Abbott
