From: Evan Anderson

To Whom It May Concern:

Pursuant to the Texas Public Information Act, I hereby request the following records:

All complaints filed by Colin Ross, M.D., and any resulting correspondence, between 1991 and 1992. Here is some background that might help in locating the records: in his book Military Mind Control, Dr. Colin Ross claims that he filed complaints on behalf of a patient. Specifically, Dr. Ross writes that his complaints alleged that a patient of his was sexually harassed by a female therapist. The first complaint was dated August 18, 1991, he says. He claims to have sent a letter on the matter on September 23, 1991. He also reports that there was "further" communication with your agency on October 1, 1991. I am hoping to obtain these complaints/letters as well as any other correspondence that may have taken place between your office and Dr. Ross during 1991 and 1992.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 10 business days, as the statute requires.

Sincerely,

Evan Anderson

Evan,

I'm checking on our retention schedule. It's unlikely we would have documents going back 20+ years.

Thanks.

Evan,

We do not have any record in our database of Colin Ross filing a complaint against a licensed marriage and family therapist or professional counselor in the timeframe you specified. Even if we did have that information in our database, the actual documents would not be available due to having met the retention schedule.

Let me know if you can provide more detail, such as the name of the therapist.

Thanks.
