Pursuant to the Texas Public Information Act, I hereby request the following records:
All communications (e-mail, text, or otherwise) to/from the Office of the Governor which contain the word "bathroom." Please exclude mailing lists and constituent e-mails. Please limit the search to the date range 1/1/16 - 5/26/17.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 10 business days, as the statute requires.

Dear Mr. Hudson:
This email is in response to your public information request to the Office of the Governor ("OOG"), received by the OOG on May 26, 2017. A copy of your request follows this email.
The OOG has reviewed its files and located the attached information responsive to your request. Due to the large size of the files, they will be sent to you in separate emails. The OOG has redacted private email addresses from the attached documents pursuant to section 552.137 of the Government Code and the previous determination issued by the Office of the Attorney General in Open Records Decision No. 684 (2009).
The OOG asserts the remaining responsive information is excepted from required disclosure under the Public Information Act. The OOG has requested a ruling from the Open Records Division of the Office of the Attorney General pursuant to Government Code ยง 552.301. A copy of the OOG's arguments submitted to the Open Records Division is attached.

Dear Mr. Hudson:
This email is in response to your public information request to the Office of the Governor ("OOG"), received by the OOG on May 26 ,2017. A copy of your request follows this email.
Some information was released to you on June 12, 2017. The OOG requested an open records letter ruling from the Office of the Attorney General as to whether the remaining information responsive to your request was excepted from disclosure under the Public Information Act. On July 27, 2017, the Office of the Attorney General issued Open Records Letter Ruling No. OR2017-16888. That ruling concluded some of the information at issue must be released. It has come to our attention that this information was not released to you. Accordingly, the information that must be released is attached with this email. I apologize for the delay.
