Pursuant to the Texas Public Information Act, I hereby request the following records:
1. Any contracts or invoices made or paid between the Employees Retirement System of Texas and any research firm or organization to assist in identifying companies that boycott Israel (From 1/1/2018 - 12/14/2018).
2. A copy of the latest list of all companies that boycott Israel according to the Employees Retirement System of Texas.
3. Any communication between the Employees Retirement System of Texas and any nonprofit organizations, international organizations, or governmental entities regarding companies that boycott Israel (From 1/1/2018 - 12/14/2018). This should include, but not be limited to communications between the Israel-American Coalition for Action and the Employees Retirement System of Texas.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 10 business days, as the statute requires.

On Friday, December 21 at 4:11 AM, the Employees Retirement System of Texas (ERS) received the below request for public information. Attached is all the information ERS has available that is responsive to your request.
ERS does not maintain the list of companies that boycott Israel, and does not conduct research to create the list. Under Section 808.051, Texas Government Code, the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts is responsible for maintaining the list and distributing it to Texas state governmental entities. A copy of the list is available at the Comptroller's website at https://comptroller.texas.gov/purchasing/publications/divestment.php.
