Mr. Hudson,
This email seeks clarification on your public information request. Are you willing to exclude constituent communications? Constituent communications refers to the hundreds to thousands of emails from members of the public sent to the general office email address. While addressed to the Governor, these emails are not sent directly to any employee. An example could be a citizen from Houston or Dallas, expressing an opinion about an issue. Exclusion of this voluminous information will allow us to expedite our response to your request.
After we receive your response, we can begin a search of our records for the information you are seeking. If the OOG does not receive a response from you by the 61st day after the date this email is sent, your request will be considered withdrawn. See Gov't Code § 552.222(d), (g). You can reach us at publicrecords@gov.texas.gov<mailto:publicrecords@gov.texas.gov> with any questions.
Thank you,
Jessica Vu
