FOIA Request: Tennessee Bureau of Investigation FOIA logs for years 2017, 2018, 2019

To Whom It May Concern:

Pursuant to the Tennessee Public Records Act, I hereby request the following records:

Tennessee Bureau of Investigation logs for years 2017, 2018, 2019 (if any exist for those years).

I would prefer the logs to be provided in the format used by the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 7 business days, as the statute requires.

Can you explain why three specific years and the specific type of file that is being sought are not specific enough for you to perform a search?

A FOIA log is pretty self explanatory. It is a log of any FOIA requests received from your organization. The request covers any of those you might possess for three entire years (2017, 2018 and 2019). Does the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation log the FOIA requests or otherwise track them and if so, in what format do you track them (spreadsheet, database, a piece of paper, in your head)?
