In response to your records request, our staff has determined that since 2010, we have a total of 184 complaints. 75 of these complaints would have to be pulled from our office records management service, which has an associated fee of approximately $12.00 plus $3.00 for each box that is pulled and refiled. The estimated total for the trip to the records management service would be $225. There will also be a charge for staff labor to pull and organize the records. This charge would be approximately $12.50 per hour for 5 hours, or around $62.50. If paper copies are requested, it will be and additional $0.15 per page. It is possible this portion could take more or less than 5 hours of our staff's time to pull.

All complaints would then need to be sent to legal staff for redaction of privileged information before they would be sent to you. The estimation of this portion of the request really depends on the size of each complaint file. I would make an initial estimation of between 5 and 7 hours of processing time in legal. This portion will be charged at a rate of $24.74 per hour. With an estimate of legal processing time at 5 hours the request would be approximately $123.70. An estimated grand total would be $225 + $62.50 + $123.70 = $411.20 (excluding the cost of paper copies).
