Pursuant to Tennessee's Public Records Act, I hereby request the following records:
I am requesting the contract of Coach Lyle Allen "Butch" Jones Jr., the head football coach of the University of Tennessee in Knoxville. The contract is public knowledge as it is an agreement between a publicly funded university and an employee of the school. Please also send any addendum or extensions signed by Coach Butch Jones if any exist after the initial contract.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 7 business days, as the statute requires.

The Act only applies to requests from current Tennessee residents. Therefore, in order to proceed, you will need to provide proof of current Tennessee residency.
This can be in the form of a currently valid Tennessee driver's license or a utility statement dated within the past three months that indicates your Tennessee residential service address.

If no proof is received by the close of business on Thursday, November 17, the request will be closed.
