Pursuant to the Tennessee Public Records Act, I hereby request the following records:
1. Annual/monthly reports on proposals/bids for broadband accessibility grants (including information like the number of proposals submitted, accepted, rejected, response time)
2. Sample broadband accessibility grant proposal/bid forms
3. Documents verifying or recording how money used in broadband expansion projects was spent (e.g. receipts, audits, communications with ISPs)
4. Written applications, close-out and progress reports evaluating the broadband expansions (e.g. results of internet speed tests, records/verification of households added by each project, communications with members of the public served by projects)
5. Communications with the public on proposed broadband expansion subsidies/projects
6. Cost-benefit reports, scoring criteria, or other written evaluations of proposals/bids for broadband expansion subsidies/projects
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 7 business days, as the statute requires.

The Broadband Accessibility Grants program has been in existence for several years so the timeframe for which you are requesting documents will impact the amount of records that are produced and whether the request falls within ECD's $100 free records policy. Kent,
I'm sending you the records as we have them available instead of having you wait for everything to be finished which is taking quite awhile as we are having to physically print and scan a lot of the documents in order to redact the bank account information. We have limited staff in office and this has been quite time consuming so I'll be sending you these as we can complete them. There won't be a charge as the technical issue is on our end. A new batch will be coming next week.
