Mr. King,

The Tarrant County Sheriff's Office has received your request, and we were unable to locate the requested records for the following reasons:

* Lake Worth is a body of water almost entirely in the city of Fort Worth. Almost all of the property immediately surrounding Lake Worth is also in the city of Fort Worth. The Tarrant County Sheriff's Office primarily only answers calls for service in the unincorporated areas of Tarrant County and the small towns of Haslet and Edgecliff Village which do not have their own police force. The Tarrant County Sheriff's Office does not answer calls for service in any of the other over two (2) dozen towns or cities in Tarrant County, unless assistance is needed for unique situations. As a result, it is highly unlikely that any calls concerning the incidents that you mentioned in your e-mail would have been received by and/or investigated by the Tarrant County Sheriff's Office.

* The Dispatch and RMS computer systems of the Tarrant County Sheriff's Office can only search by type of incident, name, report number, and exact location (example 1244 Main Street) of the incident. The computer systems will not allow us to conduct keyword searches to check for any records with certain words in the record. The Tarrant County Sheriff's Office cannot search our records based upon the information that you provided in your e-mail below.

It is recommended that you submit a Texas Public Information Act request to the Fort Worth Police Department and the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department to see if they have any records.

If you have any question, feel free to contact me by e-mail or telephone (817) 884-3700.

Sincerely,

Jerry Rucker, CRM
