After further view of your request, it appears the subject of your request is related to facial recognition technology.  Your request was forwarded to the Tacoma Police Department for review compilation of responsive records, similar to your firms three previous requests; T004258, T005183, and T006332. The Tacoma Police Department is the most reasonable city department to maintain such records. However, you believe there are any other City Departments, please advise at your earliest convenience. In addition, you have not indicated a timeframe in which you are seeking records of. Please provide date range at your earliest convenience.
You may provide a response by responding to this email.  Upon receipt of your clarification, we will begin processing your request. If no clarification is received within 30 days from this notification, we will conduct a search and provide any responsive records we locate. In order to implement appropriate measures to protect our customers and staff, you may experience a delay in service. This is due to city employees working remotely from home and not having the ability to perform their duties due to access to physical files, co-workers, or their work site. We will continue to process your request and produce responsive records as quickly as we can, however, we ask for your understanding that estimated delivery dates may be longer than usual. With that said, we are attempting to locate and assemble the materials requested and to determine whether any of the documents are exempt from disclosure and we anticipate that we should have responsive documents on or before March 31, 2021. If there are questions, or delays we will contact you accordingly.
