Regarding your request pertaining to gun acquisition, licensure, use and transfer – Florida does not have central registration of records. This agency has no record of gun registrations. You will need to contact ATF for new/used gun purchases and Department of Agriculture regarding concealed permits (per Lt. Musgrove).
I am working on the firearm related incidents for the year of 2015 and will advise the fees in advance. This will only include the calls for the Sheriff’s Office, not the Live Oak Police Department.
Sincerely,
Traci McCormick

Hi,
I just wanted to check on the status of this request and ask a question.
I know your data goes into FDLE's yearly UCR. Do reports from the Live Oak Police department also go into the UCR? Does your agency and theirs keep your data separate? Are the jurisdictions separate? I'm just confused as to how this works, as I assumed the Sheriff's Department would have crime data for the entire county.
Thanks,
Vanessa

Vanessa,
The Live Oak Police Department’s UCR data is separate from the Sheriff’s Office and the jurisdictions are also separate. I have just finished pulling the files and copying for your request from our department. There is a total of 72 pages @ .15 cents per page. The fee is $10.80 and reports will be forwarded upon receipt of payment.
Sincerely,
Traci McCormick
