I also request that, if appropriate, fees be waived as I believe this request is in the public interest. The requested documents will be made available to the general public free of charge as part of the public information service at MuckRock.com, processed by a representative of the news media/press and is made in the process of news gathering and not for commercial usage.

In the event that fees cannot be waived, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 3 business days, as the statute requires.

Sincerely,

Michael Morisy

I have received the results of the search criteria of all emails to and from the Rams. We use the same email system as St. Louis County Government and the search results include all employees, not just the police department.

There are several hundred emails returned in the search. I will have to review each email. I estimate it will take 8 hours to review the emails. The research costs are based upon $36.57 per hour. The total estimated cost associated with your request is $292.56.

You will need to pay $292.56 prior to more research being completed. Please enclose this email with payment made to St. Louis County. If the actual costs are higher, you will be required to pay the additional amount. If the costs are lower, you will receive a refund.

Once payment is received, I will begin processing the entire request.
