Pursuant to the South Dakota Open Records Law, I hereby request the following records:

Communications between Governor Kristi Noem and/or staff in the Office of the Governor concerning the Lil Nas X song "MONTERO (Call Me By Your Name)" and the associated MSCHF x Lil Nas X limited release of "Satan Shoes".

Responsive communications for this request would include, but are not limited to:

- Emails containing any of the non-case sensitive keystrings "Lil Nas X", "Call Me By Your Name", "MONTERO (Call Me By Your Name)", "MONTERO", "MSCHF", "Satan Shoes", or "Nike" between 3/27/21 and 3/29/21
- Slack messages containing any of the above keystrings between 3/27/21 and 3/29/21
- Text messages between staff and/or Governor Noem concerning any of the above keystrings between 3/27/21 and 3/29/21

I am open and amendable to appropriate redactions as long as corresponding exemption(s) are cited. Additionally, if any aspect of the search for these records is unduly burdensome or unclear, please notify me ahead of time and I will be happy to talk about the scope of my request and what is reasonable for the records officer to produce.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
