Pursuant to the South Dakota Sunshine Law, I hereby request the following records:
All invoices and financial reports related to services provided by/contracted for with JPay or Securus Technologies. Please include all available segregable data, including, but not limited to, the rate at which the funds were generated, the revenue generated for each service, the timeframe during which the funds were generated, the nature of the communication's payment (collect, prepaid, inmate account), etc. Please provide all relevant information for as long as this agency has been in a relationship with either JPay or Securus.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that fees cannot be waived, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 10 business days, as the statute requires.
