To Whom It May Concern:

Pursuant to the South Carolina Freedom of Information Act, I hereby request the following records:

I request all relevant documents including but not limited to: license histories and certifications of all registered Bail Enforcement Agents (also known as BEA's, Bounty Hunters, bail agents, recovery agents, bail recovery agents, skip tracers, or fugitive recovery agents) and bail bondsmen licensed (or recognized) by the state.

If possible, I also request a complete list of all revoked, terminated, expired, or out-of-date bail enforcement licenses.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that fees cannot be waived, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 15 business days, as the statute requires.

Log onto SCDOI (www.doi.sc.gov<http://www.doi.sc.gov>)
Click " Online Services"
Click " Search SCDOI database"
Click "Search for Companies"
Click on the Company Type button and select " Bail Bonds"
Click "Search" at the bottom of the page then click "Display All Results" you will see 455 bail agencies.
Click on the name for more information.
