Pursuant to the South Carolina Freedom of Information Act, I hereby request the following records:
FOIA of South Carolina Governor Nikki R. Haley's email's. 6/17/2015-->6/25/2015.
Specifically: looking for any conversations relating to the removal of the confederate flag from the grounds of the state house.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 15 business days, as the statute requires.

Dear Ms. Shure,
Our office received your Freedom of Information Act request for "Governor Nikki R. Haley's emails" from "6/17/2015 to 6/25/2015" for "any conversations relating to the removal of the confederate flag from the grounds of the state house."
Our office will provide any and all records in our possession that are responsive to your request, subject to any exemptions or redactions as allowed pursuant to Section 30-4-30(a) of the South Carolina Code of Laws or as is otherwise exempt from disclosure by statute or regulation or prohibited from disclosure by court order.
Due to the high volume of Freedom of Information Act requests received by the Governor's Office and the significant costs associated with producing requests, our office will charge a reasonable cost for searching and copying records as allowed pursuant to Section 30-4-30(b).
Our office possesses records responsive to your request. We are currently compiling responsive records to determine an estimated cost and will notify you as soon as a cost estimate has been determined.

Attached is the response that was sent out recently. While the initial indication was that records existed, there are none that are conversations with the Governor. We do have 3,178 pages of emails from the public during this time period. I do not believe this is what you are looking for, but of you would like copies of these there will be a charge of $317.80.
