Pursuant to the South Carolina Freedom of Information Act, I hereby request the following records:
Policies, procedures and/or training documents pertaining to the execution of death row inmates.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that fees cannot be waived, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 15 business days, as the statute requires.

Hello,
To clarify, 30-4-20 indicates: “ Information relating to security plans and devices proposed, adopted, installed, or utilized by a public body, other than amounts expended for adoption, implementation, or installation of these plans and devices, is required to be closed to the public and is not considered to be made open to the public under the provisions of this act.”
The records you requested are security plans, the disclosure of which would jeopardize the safety and security of SCDC employees, inmates, and the general public.
