Pursuant to the Arizona Public Records Law, I hereby request the following records:

All current policies maintained by the department regarding use of force.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Dear Katie Ryan,

First please accept my sincere apology that you did not receive a prompt response.

I just did an email search and also corresponded with my staff and we do not see that we ever received a request through email. For your information, all requests for public records made to the SV PD email get forwarded to the Records division separately. We also make immediate contact with the requestor advising that we have received their request and who will be handling processing it further.

If you ever have future requests, please utilize the group email PoliceRecordsGroup@sierravistaaz.gov and you should expect a direct response.

I have attached our Subject Management policy which details use of force. Please let me know if there is anything else that you require or if we can assist you again.
