To Whom It May Concern:

Pursuant to RCW Ch. 42.56 (Public Records Act), I hereby request the following records:

All software source code for the "Minimum Wage Calculator" hosted at the following seattle.gov URL:

http://www.seattle.gov/laborstandards/ordinances/minimum-wage/wage-calculator

If a git repository or any other version control system is utilized please provide a log of commits.

Please include all related materials for any back end server software which those applications interact with.

Please provide responsive documents in their native format with metadata. For example, if a spreadsheet or email (.eml) file is available, do not print and scan documents.

For redaction of any kind, please "black out" any relevant sections. Please do not "white out" sections. The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 5 business days, as the statute requires.

Hi Mr. Rodriguez:

Thank you for contacting the City of Seattle. The Seattle Minimum Wage Calculator is comprised of a series of 24 web pages. The full source of each page can be viewed by visiting each page in a web browser and using the browser's "View Source" command. There is no use of server-side application code or JavaScript to determine the results of the calculator. Here are all the pages that make up the "calculator."

Because everything you requested can be viewed through your browser's view source command, Seattle IT considers this request satisfied. Please let us know if this is not accurate.
