The date range for this request is 1/1/12 to the date this request is processed on.
Budgeting and financial data, spending reports, and cost breakdowns concerning expenditures on:
-Tear gas
-Pepper spray (Oleoresin Capsicum)
-Smoke grenades or concussion grenades
-Chemical munitions launchers
-Rubber bullets
-Batons
-Riot shields
-Protective gear such as helmets, body armor, gloves, etc.
I also request any grant applications and documentation in regards to purchasing any of the above mentioned equipment.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Spreadsheet that contains information on spending on the items you requested for the years 2012 to current as of 4/18/17. Please note the spreadsheet contains more information than requested. You do a search on the spreadsheet. Please let us know if this is acceptable or if you want copies of the actual invoices. If we don't receive clarification of this item within 30 days or by June 22, 2017, the Department will consider your requested satisfied by the spreadsheet.
In addition, the Department is still looking for responsive records. We have checked with our Grants Section and Budget Section and they didn't have any responsive records.
The fee for this installment is: $1.25.
Description of Fees:
Invoice Details
Online delivery of files under 1 Gigabyte with a $.02 minimum charge: $0.02
Staff time to copy/attach a request at $.41 per minute with a two minute minimum: $0.82
Staff time to release records to Customer at $.41 per minute for each increment of 25 attachments.: $0.41
Instructions to make the payment:
* Access the Police Public Records Request Center (link below)
* Navigate to 'My Records Request Center'
* Navigate to 'View My Payments'
* You should see a button titled 'Make Payment'
* If you have more than one open payment and need help with which ‘Make Payment’ button to select, please contact the assigned public disclosure officer.
* Select 'Make Payment' button
* Opens a separate web page for payments
* Continue processing your payment (Credit Card or Bank Withdrawal)
* Select Done
* Once the payment process is done, you are returned to the Public Records Request Center
* After your payment is successful you will receive two emails
* An E-mail from our payments center
* An E-mail from our records center with instructions
After we receive your payment through the Police Records Request Center Secure Payments, the Public Disclosure Unit will release your records within 1-2 business days and send you a notice with instructions on how to download.
