It has come to my attention that SPD removes ALPR records from its internal database every 90 days and that a script was written
to perform the task, This request is for that script as well as any internal emails, interoffice mails or recorded communications which led to the creation and implementation of the script as well as any legal guidance which may have been solicited with regards to the deletion of those records.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 5 business days, as the statute requires.
*SPECIAL NOTE*:
This FOIA is a resubmission of FOIA request P004523-082316 which was apparently improperly dismissed as a duplcate of P003186-061716, however neither of these records are publicly available and if this request is again deemed a duplicate I will accept the CURRENT VERSION of the script, and as scripts change over time as needed this request is unique and distinct from both previous requests seeking OLDER versions of this script that may have existed in the past and records with regard to it.

Staff time to release records to Customer at $.41 per minute for each increment of 25 attachments.: $0.41
Instructions to make the payment:
* Access the Police Public Records Request center (link below)
* Navigate to 'My Records Request Center'
* Navigate to 'View My Requests'
* Find the request referenced in this email (reference number above)
* You should see a button titled 'Make Payment'
* Select 'Make Payment' button
* Opens a separate web page for payments
* Continue processing your payment (Credit Card or Bank Withdrawal)
* Select Done
* Once the payment process is done, you are returned to the Public Records Request Center
* After your payment is successful you will receive two emails
* An E-mail from our payments center
* An E-mail from our records center with instructions
After we receive your payment through the Police Records Request Center Secure Payments, the Public Disclosure Unit will release your records within 1-2 business days and send you a notice with instructions on how to download.
