RE:  Public Disclosure Request#: P019279-101917

Dear ,

This communication is in response to your public disclosure request received on October 19, 2017 for reports regarding pre-employment screen polygraph testing and results.

I have contacted the SPD's Human Resource Department, Background Investigation Unit as well as the Sergeant who conducts SPD's pre-employment polygraph screening and have received confirmation that we do not have records in the format you are requesting. In addition, we ran an IA Pro database report to locate any complaints with the work "polygraph" in it and located only no complaints reltated to pre-employment polygraph screening. Therefore, the Seattle Police Department has no records responsive to your request.

We do not have a record or the ability to readily create a record that contains the information you are seeking. The Public Record Act does not require us to perform research projects or develop data for information requests. RCW 42.56.080.

This concludes the Seattle Police Department's response to your request.

If you have any questions, you may send a message using the Police Records Request Center or call the Public Disclosure Desk at 206-684-5481.
Sincerely,
