Pursuant to RCW Ch. 42.56 (Public Records Act), I hereby request the following records:

All response data and all reports generated from the "Housing Affordability and Livability Agenda" survey through the date of this request.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 5 business days, as the statute requires.

I have just completed reviewing the results from the HALA SurveryMonkey. I will be redacting all contact information (addresses and phone numbers) provided by the volunteers who participated in the survey under 42.56.250 (3).

I am writing to ask you, in respect for the participants in this survey if you will agree to redacting their names as well?

Dear Mr. Rodriguez:

Thank you for your prompt reply and accepting the withholding of names of the volunteers who participated in the HALA Survey. As previously explained we have withheld the participants addresses and phone numbers under:

RCW 42.56.250 (3) The following information held by any public agency in personnel records, public employment related records, volunteer rosters, or included in any mailing list of employees or volunteers of any public agency: Residential addresses, residential telephone numbers, personal wireless telephone numbers, personal electronic mail addresses, social security numbers, driver's license numbers, identicard numbers, and emergency contact information of employees or volunteers of a public agency, and the names, dates of birth, residential addresses, residential telephone numbers, personal wireless telephone numbers, personal electronic mail addresses, social security numbers, and emergency contact information of dependents of employees or volunteers of a public agency. For purposes of this subsection, "employees" includes independent provider home care workers as defined in RCW 74.39A.240<http://app.leg.wa.gov/RCW/default.aspx?cite=74.39A.240>;

"Volunteer personal information is exempted to avoid disclosing information that might discourage public participation in various City issues and activities."

Due to the nature of the record produced, we are waiving the fee for this production as a onetime courtesy.

The record is attached and this will conclude the Mayor's Office response to your request.
