RE: my public records request of July 22, 2013 (your identifier: P2013-2321)

Dear Sir or Madam:

I appeal. I specifically excluded those applications which were placed as part of an investigation that remains active at the time of processing my request, yet your justification for denying in full my request is your claim that these applications, approvals, and denials for authorization to collect restricted information "covers what the Unit is currently investigating."

Cordially,
Phil Mocek
