Pursuant to the California Public Records Act (California Government Code §§ 6250), I hereby request the following records:

We are looking for all documents related to the Santee contract with Microsoft to purchase Microsoft Access software, including the original contract, the date, implementation and maintenance costs, total cost, contract duration, and all services rendered.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 10 calendar days, as the statute requires.

Dear Ms. Desmond,
This email is in response to your request for public records received in the City Clerk’s Office on Wednesday, August 2. The City of Santee purchases Microsoft Access software and related Microsoft Office software products when it purchases individual computers on an as needed basis. Purchases are performed utilizing the California Department of General Services Contract number SLP-13-70-0025W under standard enrollment 3025367. A copy of that contract can be obtained from https://www.dgs.ca.gov. There are no costs associated with implementation and maintenance as the software is implemented and maintained by City I.T. Staff.

Dear Ms. Desmond,
In email is in response to your follow up request. The City of Santee does not use any software for building permits. All building permits are created and stored in paper form. The log of issued building permits is also in paper form. Examples of each are attached.
