Facial Recognition and AnyVision records request

To Whom It May Concern:

Pursuant to the Texas Public Information Act, I hereby request the following records:

I am seeking email communications between the Santa Fe Independent School District and the facial recognition / artificial intelligence company AnyVision, including conversations with Santa Fe High School Director of Technology Kip Robins. I am seeking records from February 2018 to the present date.

I am a reporter from CNET, a technology website and a subsidiary of CBS. I am based in New York, and can be contacted by email at alfred.ng@cbs.com or over the phone at 646-472-3908. This request is made as part of news gathering and not for a commercial use.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
