Mr. Lipton,

We received your IPRA for information on Santa Fe Police Department usage of a variety of
Social Media surveillance software and equipment on October 27, 2016. I consulted with our
Commanders in all divisions and was told we have never used those types of monitoring
programs. We currently have no Police Social Media policies in place, but are considering
creating a policy at a future date that has not been established yet.
