Pursuant to the California Public Records Act, I hereby request the following records:
I am writing to request the following information:
A complete list of all employees, their job titles, and their annual salary for the last Three years (2020 and 2023).
Please provide all training documents related to the use of force within the agency, including but not limited to manuals, protocols, guidelines, and any related memos or communications.
I am making this FOIA request with any and all agencies that may have the requested information.
The purpose of this request is to gather information that will aid in a research project examining agency practices related to the use of force. The information requested will be used to assess the extent to which agency training on the use of force has been effective. This research project is being conducted as part of a larger effort to promote greater accountability and transparency within law enforcement agencies.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 10 calendar days, as the statute requires.

The County is extending the time period to respond to your request to April 27, 2023 under Government Code section 6253, subdivision (c) for one or more of the following reasons: to search for and collect the requested records from field facilities or other establishments separate from the office processing the request; to search for, collect, and appropriately examine a voluminous amount of separate and distinct records demanded in a single request; to consult with another agency having substantial interest in the request, or among two or more components of the local agency with substantial interest in the request; or to compile data, write programming language or a computer program, or to construct a computer report to extract data.
