I'm following up on the following California Public Records Act request, copied below, and originally submitted on Sept. 13, 2016. You previously indicated that it would be completed on Oct. 15, 2016. I wanted to let you know that I am still interested in the following documents, and to see if that date was still accurate.
Thanks for your help, and let me know if further clarification is needed.
From: Paulson, Eric
Mr. Weissmueller –
The Santa Ana Police Department has determined the information you requested be exempt from disclosure per California Government Code 6254 (f). Specifically, the information you are requesting is a law enforcement record AND the associated case has pending criminal litigation. Our review of your request determined the Orange County District Attorney may have released a redacted version of the recording and/or transcript of a recording. The Santa Ana Police Department does not possess redacted versions of any recordings or transcripts.
