Pursuant to the California Public Records Act, I hereby request the following records:

A record of all summonses and/or arrests for violations of state and county-level COVID restrictions, from March 1, 2020 to June 14, 2021.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 10 calendar days, as the statute requires.

Pursuant to Government Code Sections 6250 to 6270, the typical timeline for the City to make a determination of available records is ten (10) calendar days. However, under certain circumstances, the City may exercise its right to extend this timeline for up to additional fourteen (14) days.

*If your request was submitted outside of the City's normal business hours (Monday - Friday, 8am-5pm), your request will be considered received on the following business day and a determination response will be provided within 10 days. If the 10th day falls on a weekend or holiday, a response will be provided on the next business day.

Please be advised that in-person inspections and pickup of records are on hold until City Hall re-opens. Additionally, there may be delays to the production of records; however, the City of Redwood City will make every effort to provide records electronically and timely.
