Informational copies of all American Indian and Alaska Native death certificates held by the San Luis Obispo County Clerk's office.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 10 calendar days, as the statute requires.

The County Clerk Recorder's office did receive your Public Records Act Request on October 8, 2020 regarding informational death certificates for all American Indian and Alaska Natives in our vital index.
Vitals are not a public record.
The records are maintained in the Clerk-Recorder's office and indexed by name and date only, they are not indexed by statistical facts.
We are not able to provide any vitals without the names and fees for the certificates.
