I would like the record of all demolition permits issued and completed between 2000 to 2018.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 10 calendar days, as the statute requires.

The report is available online, below are the instructions for obtaining the list of demolition permits. Please note that our records begin with the year 2001 through current. We do not have records available for the year 2000.

1. Start at sjpermits.org
2. Under Additional Information, click on Reports for Construction and Permit Activity
3. Under # 3 Permit Data file, you will find instructions to download the file in EXCEL. Click on click on Past Years to view a list of years available.
4. Start with PD_2001_ISSUE.TXT<https://sjpermits.org/permits/ftproot/SanJose/permitdataYears/PD_2001_ISSUE.TXT>. By opening the file in EXCEL, you will be able to sort by column (O) WORK DESC.
5. Scroll down to find the "Demolition" permits.
6. Repeat for the following desired years.
